Industrial Waste is centered on the company CITRI, S.A., whose industrial premises are located in Setúbal.
These consist basically of a controlled landfill, with two cells where waste that cannot be reused or recycled is deposited, a laboratory to analyse water and waste and a reverse osmosis unit to treat leachates. CITRI also has a sorting platform where reusable or recyclable waste usually not segregated by the producer is separated.
Sorted waste is then sent to the authorized recovery units.

CITRI is important in providing support for industries and other economic activities that do not have the capacity to treat the waste they produce.
